On the noon of May 11th, the school held a special training on laboratory safety in conference room 4418. All laboratory safety officers and some laboratory leaders of the college attended the training meeting.
The meeting was first attended by Professor Gao Zhiyu from the Security Office of the Security Department, who conducted training on campus safety and laboratory safety. Teacher Gao Zhiyu gave a lecture on the precautions for emergency situations in laboratories and campuses, emphasizing the importance of safety production and reminding teachers and students to continuously improve their safety awareness. He advocated the concept of safety production, advocating not harming others, not being harmed by others, and not being harmed by other things.
At the meeting, the college conducted a briefing and analysis based on the recent release of the Laboratory Safety Inspection Report by the school and the college's daily inspections. We have interpreted and explained the newly released College Laboratory Safety Inspection Form (2024), providing guidance for laboratories to continuously improve their daily safety management and hidden danger investigation. Finally, the college conducted business training on laboratory access and personnel management, chemical procurement and management, and daily safety information maintenance in conjunction with the school's safety management system.
The college attaches great importance to the construction of a laboratory safety management system, constantly monitoring the new requirements and concepts of the school and relevant departments at higher levels, and combining with the daily laboratory safety management work of the college, timely releasing relevant information and conducting training and guidance, laying a solid foundation for the orderly safety of teaching and research in the college.
