The lecture topic:X ray Photoelectron spectrometer XPS course
The presenter: Xiaoqin Wen
Brief introduction of the presenter:
Xiaoqin Wen graduated from Northwest University, majoring in material physics and Chemistry. Her research direction is friction and wear of graphene electrical contact on copper surface. In school, she was in charge of XPS equipment management, with years of testing experience, and proficient in using analytical software xps peak Avantage, Casa, Multipak. At the same time, she has published 2 SCI papers in Ultrasonics Sonochemistry and TRIBOLOGY INTERNATIONAL. Currently, she is a senior lecturer of Compass College and a senior director of XPS. She is proficient in instrument operation and has rich experience in handling key problems encountered in the testing process. Up to now, the trainer has been to Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Southeast University, Defense Chemical Research Institute of PLA Academy of Military Science, Hunan Normal University, South China University of Technology and other major universities in China to set up nearly 100 online and offline live courses.
Content of the lecture:
This lecture mainly introduces the application of XPS in the characterization of energy batteries and environmental materials. This paper describes how to evaluate the quality, surface chemical properties and layer structure distribution of battery materials by means of XPS characterization, and further study the performance, working mechanism and failure mechanism of battery materials. Thermo Fisher Scientific XPS offers a full range of solutions for the battery industry, from lithium ion batteries to solar cells, from solid oxide fuel cells to proton exchange membrane fuel cells and supercapacitors.
