On January 18, 2022, the 8th China-Korea SUES&UOU Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Forum was successfully held, which was jointly supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), and jointly organized by Professor Lu Jie from Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, and Professor Sung-Gu Kang from Ulsan University, Korea. Due to the impact of COVID-19, this forum was held in a mixed-mode online and offline.
This forum was held on the basis of the forum on "Intelligent functional products and Intelligent Production Management (22081340412)", aiming to promote further in-depth research on intelligent functional products and intelligent production management, and produce more fruitful cooperation results. More than 30 representatives from Shanghai University of Engineering Science in China, University of Ulsan in South Korea, and Tohoku University in Japan participated in the event, giving 13 academic reports.
Young scholars and graduate students from Both China and South Korea actively reported their research achievements in their respective research fields. During the session, the participating teachers and students asked questions about the content of the report, deeply discussed the similarities and differences of the current research directions of both sides, and actively exchanged research principles, research methods, and solutions to problems in the research process of their respective projects.
