School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering has always attached great importance to laboratory safety work, in the summer safety management work on the basis of the first day of the school year to fully open the new semester regular laboratory safety work mode. In order to do a good job of laboratory safety, to ensure the safe and orderly operation of the laboratory in the new semester, on September 11, the party secretary of the college Song Qinjian, President Wang Jinguo, Deputy Secretary Qin Ying, Vice President Li Ya, Wang Runkland led a team to carry out a comprehensive safety inspection of the college laboratory.
During the inspection, it was found that some laboratories had problems such as improper operation, irregular storage of chemicals and random stacking of items. The inspection team put forward the rectification requirements to the relevant teachers in charge of the laboratory.
The college also organized a safety meeting for the first semester of the academic year 2023-24, at which the vice president Wang Runkland summarized the summer safety management work, notified some common problems, and asked all laboratories to always tighten the string of safety in the new semester, to ensure the safe development of teaching and scientific research work. At the meeting, the college also carried out a special training on the laboratory risk investigation work.
